I tried searching but didn't find much. What exhaust makes the deepest sound?

the two that i think have a nice deep sound are the hks hi power and racing beat race exhaust.


others to look at are borla or the racing beat rev8. both are deep, but on the quiet side.

 

probably the borla ... not sure but ive heard it in person and it was pretty deep ...

 

real nice rev..i dont think barry will fit under our cars though...but just imagine him wailing at 9k. it probably could almost make you cry.


btw just check youtube for some audio clips. that helped for me...or you can try and make it out to a meet if there are any near you.

 

With stock cat, Borla is as deep as I've heard it.

Yeah I was thinking borla, but I finally did find something after searching the forums again:

In this someone claims that RX-8 store's exhaust is deeper than Borla, and yields 12 HP.

 

wow. that exhaust must create a vortex like the turbonator in order to move air faster than the speed of light and create more gains than if your car had no exhaust installed at all.

 

please ignore any claims like this because any games from a bolt-on cat back is really minimal.

if you're gonna be buying an exhaust simply get it for sound preference because thats really all that changes.

 

I agree yeah the 12 hp claim did sound fishy, but anyway has anyone heard the RX-8 store exhaust?

 

The larger tailpipe diameters are deeper. Look for 4 inch or larger. Some may melt those plastic shrouds, but it will be deep.

 

Racing beat w/ Mazsport dual resonated mid-pipe for me. I've gotten many compliments.
