My RX-8 is being delivered by flatbed truck this Thursday. I'm pretty excited. When it comes, after I get done jumping up and down for joy, is there anything I should check before I accept delivery and fork over my cashier's check? I'm thinking I should ask the dealer how many miles are on the car so I know my car didn't have any extracurricular test drives on the way up from L.A.

Also, any advice for the first 1,000 miles? I want my car to stay nice and healthy.

 

follow the break-in procedure, a good wash with a good coat of wax, inspect the ENTIRE car!
