Although your answer contrite Swoope, I learned something, hence an ounce of prevention being a pound of cure.

yep,

i get that a lot. or worse. fix the problem then fix the blame..

most of us will assume that the car is an 04. as that is really what is out there the most..

but the rules are different.. i would love to see the part # on the side of your coils???

btw. i dont really care what year the car is.. if you are not running the crap out of the car on the street. or doing track days.

the plugs are done at 20k miles..

and i prefer stoic.

beers

Stoic it is then, and I'll remember to get the tech's to get me a coil part number at my next oil change just for you. We all learn something everyday. Saves the brain farts, especially at MY age! nn

so i took it in for the long overdue emission recall, got myself some free leading plugs.. think i am gonna go ahead and get some trailing plugs and put them in myself. so far so good, we will see if this solves the problem.

50% of the problem is 04.

don't forget to reset the ECU. Clear some memory...

check this out after driving all morning, i tried to do a pull in 1st gear, lost power around 7k+ again. so i parked the car to the side and reved in neutral.

in the video, after the initial rev i just left WOT, and the power will slow down near 7k and kinda fall after 9k (the engine was getting better and better for some reason) (notice the flashing CEL light and the eventual coolant level light)

right after the 1st gear power loss pull

3 min after the 1st video in the parking lot

my coolant level.
