I managed to hit the RevLimiter today. I pulled out onto the street then someone pulled out right infront of me to where I couldn't have stopped so I did emergency lane change and puched it so the guy in the other lane didn't rear end me.

Needless to say windows were down so I didn't hear the beep. Limiter kicked in right when I was about to shift. Kinda odd to see the tac that far in the red Oh and first gear appears to be good upto about 40mph lol.

True. My dyno runs show power drops at 8500. So anything above that really isnt doing much except making noise.

Rev limiters are there for a reason. No damage I'm sure ... guys that autocross their Honda S2000 routinely will bounce off the rev limiter for several seconds rather than waste time with a shift ...

very true, the last event i was at, that was happening all over the course, the STi's, evo's and the s2000 all seem to bounce off the limiter a lot in autocross. I like having an extra 1500 RPM or more over them. I still can't beat them, but i got the RPM thing going for me. :D
