Ill post a pic!!!
Only the morons think you're a dumbass. That's because they're...

The rest of us figure you test drove it, and while under the magical spell of how it drives you overpaid. Easy thing to do, when all you want is to get back in and keep on driving. Passion always clouds one's senses.

Glad the advice here helped you get the price down.

You're now one of us. Enjoy the ride!

No seriously!!!
It's when you go on a forum and ask if paying $10,000 over market is a good deal or not resulting in various different responses from "you paid too much" to a bunch of guys leghumping you for the rest of your stay at the forum. Either way you lose.

2 things come to mind.

Emotion sells cars boys, not Logic. Gotta get them touching, feeling, smelling...DRIVING...

In my neck of the woods we called that glow from a test drive "ether".

I just wanted to say that I have an 04 GT, and I love it! All of the recalls have been done, and I had to bring it in only two times for other issues which were completely covered under warranty. Regardless of the people who whine too much on this forum, I think you will love this car too!

Happens to everyone. But I'm sure the warranty is already done. Even happens to my 07.

I wouldn't worry. Our brakes on our cars always squeal. But you could also try to clean them, it's mostly dust or dirt..

yes, with exception to rotors and brakepads. so squeeking if its because of wore out rotors or pads it would not be covered under warranty.

I'm sorry. I hate to be so negative but.....

ALL of the questions she has asked so far have been asked by hundreds of newcomers to this site. With the exception being that 99% of the other newbies have been males and she is a woman.

I am not surprised that this thread has already reached 3 pages in length even though the questions she has asked would normally result in a few members on this site saying "SEARCH or DIE" to the new member.

Why is it so different in this case? Hmmm...I wonder....

Anyways have fun!

arguing my side. I try to help anyone, as I hope they would do to me. even if it means I do the search myself and post the threads that the answers are in. I myself am not taking "special attention" to the OP because she is female.

Not pointing fingers but I've seen this behaviour on a few occassions. Call it a social observation. Its probably just that the majority of members here are male and we all get that way around women, some of us moreso than others! I just wish this treatment could be shown towards all new members rather than a select few. I'm fairly new as well but, like you, I always answer everyones questions instead of just saying "SEARCH".

That might be some of it, but...

She got hammered on her first post. She took it in stride and with good humor. She took the advice from the non-hammer posts and did something - got the price lowered. Didn't sit there whining. Very different from the usual:

"What kind of oil should I use?"
"I hear that the engine blows up after 3 miles."
"The power sucks compared to my F-15. Can I fix it with this chip from e-bay?"

first posts, which the FP'er then follows up with argument and more stupidity. And whining.

It may not be apparent, but intelligence counts for something here.

Her first "asked a thousand times" question, about squeaking brakes, didn't come until the thread reached its third page.

well, idk, it does depend on the person. She asked genuine questions and took our sarcasm and was a good sport! I personnally get annoyed with people who ask stupid questions! Ex. Is an rx8 right for me? I make 25 dollars allowance and I want torque! Idk and threads that are obvious like "synthetic oil" . Idk, hopefully that makes sense.
