That was the Kelly blue book value!! I paid 18,200.00 with the 5 year 60,000 bumper to bumper. Grand touring with leather 7,300 miles and the goodies I described. I got a great deal. The car NEVER SAW SNOW OR RAIN. YOU GET IN IT IT STILL HAS THE NEW CAR SCENT.

You got an alright deal. KBB is $16,650 to $19,175. KBB trade in value is actually low retail. Since cars are only traded at dealers black book value is true trade in price. Resale is always $2 - $5g higher than blackbook trade in. Sounds like you got a very nice GT for the money to me.

Eh, I decided on going with an 05 instead of an 04 because of recalls and such. 2005, Green, manual, 29k miles, 17,490. Granted thats with no spoiler, sirius, disc changer or sunroof.

Congratz on your new car! Don't worry about price... maybe it was the geographic location. Resale value only counts if you plan on reselling it. This is an icon car and a true car guy/girl isn't going to look at resale value. At least I don't think the tuner community looks at cars that way. By the way, I hope this will make you feel better but not all 04's had problems. Mine has always been a really great car and it was an early 04. The key to keeping this car running great is to always respect the rotary and drive it like it was meant to be driven, get those RPMs up!
