Different sound in 5th gear
Hi folks,
I just got my new baby, a Winning Blue sport package, last night. I noticed while driving in home and then to work this morning that the engine makes a different noise when the car is in 5th than any other gear.
It's not a big difference, but I can detect kind of a high pitched, uh - hard to describe, noise on acceleration. I do not hear this in 6th or any other gear during acceleration. Usually, the engine sounds like a swarm of angry killer bees! But this sound is in addition to the killer bee sound.
Has anyone else noticed this or do you know what it might be? Is it normal? I've never driven a rotary before, so I am unsure how it's supposed to sound.
