Dilemma! Help!

Right now I am torn betwen getting the 2005 Whitewater Pearl RX8 or just wait until 2006 for the Mazdaspeed Version.

In order to get the Rx8, I am going to sell my '95 Accord with 81900 miles first. I have a buyer for it right now for a low price 4600 but i feel i can get more out of it. He wants to buy it tomorrow. I dont want to rush selling my accord for that price....yet

is the 2005 really an improved version?

I cant speak to the 05 as I dont have one.. But you seem to be pinning your hopes on a car that may or may not come out in 06.

If you really want the 8 you might want to get it now and save yourself the trouble.

As Detroit RX8 said, there's no guarantee there is going to be a Mazdaspeed version. At this point, Mazda has announced plans for a convertible and a 2 door coupe in 2006-07, but that's about it. I'd stick with the 2005 if I were you.

As far as the 05 being an "improved" version, I think the only real change is the new key; other than that, the 05 is identical to the 04. Of course, all the little things, such as the cracked temp guage, visor, etc., along with the flash upgrades, have been done with the 05's. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.....

2005 is the same car as a 04....the 05 will have minor improvements.........key fob......white color.....sirius radio......and immobilzer system......i would not even be worrying about an 06.....something that mazda has not official made known.......go with the 04( which u can steal of a deal on) or wait for the o5

From a performance standpoint, the aftermarket will most likely be much better than the factory. I say quit waiting and get the '05.

4600 for a 95 accord is a good price, and its only gonna go down, a dealer wont give you a dime over 2500 if you are lucky, go for it man, be the first on your block with a white RX8

Frankly, I have serious doubts that we will see a Mazdaspeed version of the RX8-8 for the 06 model year.

Get one now. Just don't get White!

Thumbs up Just Do It!

Nobody knows what will come out of Mazda in a year, for that matter no one knows what you'll be doing in a year. Just do it and enjoy

Buy an '05 or look for a late 2004 now. You'll get a good price break.
