Disappointed with your 8???
#51
I think a more accurate statement would be I am disappointed with Mazda. To make such a fine car then drop the ball at the 10 yard line is ridiculous. I am disappointed that Mazda did the following:
- Sourced crappy coil that need replacing as often as the plugs.
- Did not install sufficient engine oiling which contributes to engine failure.
- Will not replaced defective clutch peddles until they are at the point where you can be stranded.
- Installed CATs that are not up to the job.
- Installed idiot lights and passed them off as gauges.
- Provided a good extended warranty on the engine then allowed the dealers to weasel out of it every chance they get.
- Sell a production car that can't meet it's listed MPG.
- Allow service levels to drop to the lowest of all manufactures in customer service.
This my sound like splitting hairs but I think most the issues that **** people off are easily correctable yet Mazda has chosen not to. This is why Mazda and not the RX-8 has disappointed me.
