Do you wave to other RX8 drivers?

I always wave, regardless of whether they wave back. Maybe they'll eventually get the hint.
But flashing lights??? Around here, flashing your lights at someone means, "Slow down! There's a speed trap ahead!"

The only RX-8 I passed on an undivided road going opposite ways I honked at, and he honked back. The rest I've seen I've been behind, headed the opposite way on a highway, or I wasn't in my 8 so they would not have understood...

I ride bikes and all bikers wave. Years ago I had a Jeep and all Jeepers waved. Had a Miata, all Miata'ers waved. Now the 8, and yes, I've seen some waving!
PLEASE STOP! I don't want to wave, I'm just not a friendly guy. Yet I feel obliged every time somebody wants to play Johnny friendly. One of these days I'm gonna fly off some S curve into a tree while politely waving.
Please, wavers, PLEASE stop!

An 8 pulled up on my left at a traffic light yesterday and I looked over at the driver and gave him a thumbs up. He gave me a big grin and then followed me for a mile or so, no doubt enjoying the profile of my car.

I usually give one of these out the window If I have enough warning (can see them coming). I think this confuses everyone on the road, particularly the drivers behind me. It seems in posh-suburaban philly, a lot of the RX-8 owners are weekend drivers and dont pay attention to anything on the road other than themselves. I've waved at the 15-20 i've seen since I bought my car, and have gotten responses twice.
I'll keep doing it, sorry 912045128394

I always wave, or honk or flash the lights. The cool ones are on the freeway. Every time I seee another RX ont the freeway, we seem to go side by side to give all the onlookers a show.
People are very proud of their RX's out here.

I usually look at the driver and see if they make eye contact. If they do, I'll do a small wave. My windows are tinted and it's getting colder out. Most of the time they won't be able to see me. Then again, as it starts to snow, the 8 will be spending more days at home (sob).

I wave and flick the lights. If someone doesn't wave or flick the lights back I wave harder and turn my brights on. If they still don't wave and flick their lights back I pull in to their lane. If they get around me I turn around and chase them with my brights on waving like a madman. I don't know why I keep getting pulled over...

I thought it was due to my unfriendly appearance but that's not it at all.
I have had plenty of exchanges and even a couple conversations IN THE MIDDLE OF BUSY HIGHWAYS with drivers in FDs. Those guys are just friendly and classy. Can't say the same about members of my breed though. Sad but true.

I still wave at other RXs though, and a few of them have given a nod back. Ive gone as far as to get out of my car at an intersection to give someone in a Black 8 a flyer for a rotary BBQ, but he never showed up
Jerky if you happen to see my TiGray be sure to give me a wave, Im not an ******* I assure you.

I run into so very few RX drivers in general. I probably wouldn't bother waving to anyone who wasnt in the last gen RX-7 or newer.
Those cars are, generally, long past the first owner and becoming beaters destined for the junkyard.

I wave to all the 8's I see in Connecticut. Have never gotten a wave back. I usually get "the stare...". Where it's like they think their the only one allowed to have an 8 in Connecticut.
One guy pulled up right behind me in a gas station while I was pumping gas. He didnt even look at me. **** smooch.
I hate to say it but it kinda makes me mad.

Maybe it's just all the rich sportscasters at ESPN or their kids who give that cocky attitude. That's the one thing you get in bristol that I'm not a fan of: assshole sportswriters (I mean, hell, it's not like you play the game yourself. You just write about it).
