lucky. Yea i complained about my mileage i told the tech i got like 15 mpg he said that was normal...i was like ohh......great

 

I thought reading this would clear something up but now Im more confused then when I satrted! I bought mine in September. I havent had any problems with starting or flooding. My mpg is about 16-17 but I took that as a heavy foot syndrome and not car related. If I do this 20 tap test am I going to erase something or just find out if I am pre L flash or not? I often feel like if it aint broke...

 

The 20-tap thing will just confirm you have pre-L. I think it is worth doing though even though you are fine with what you have right now. I did notice an improvement in power in lower gears.

I don't have any flooding problem either by just taking one simple precaution: don't shut the car down if it has not warmed up.
