Does warranty cover 02 sensor? Check engine light came on.

Does anyone know if the on the manufactures warranty will cover for an 02 sensor? My check engine came on yesterday and error code read 02 sensor slow response. Bank 1 Sensor 2.

I still have some remaining warranty on my 04 MT VR 8.

Cool

The "O2 sensor" may be the problem, but "a new cat" is probably the answer.....

Might possibly. When I bought the car, it already had an aftermarket exhaust. Can't seem to figure what kind it is because there is no name that I can find on the exhaust anywhere. Maybe I could of missed it but did not see one.

But my point is that it back fires all the time in second gear or third. Also when I and pushing hard down on the accelerator trhying redline it.
