car too low? Wow! Do they force Lamborghini ownersto install lift kits? Like everyone else said i'd take the time to fight them, nothing but the front plate violation seems to hold any validity. On the plus side none of those are moving violations so even if you lose they won't affect your insurance. and there has to be more to this, I've run into some "dick" cops in NYC but never to the point where they were intentionally trying to throw everything in the book at me.

It's not that the car itself is too low, but the head lights (according to the law). Over here in NJ, your head lights must be at least 21 or 22 inches above the ground (I don't remember which).
As far as front license plate goes, yeah, it sucks but it's illegal.
A good ideal would be to get your car inspected and then speak with a lawyer. If you aren't too low or too dark, you can probably get away with just the license plate.
Good luck

Wow!
I live in Texas, I don't have a front plate, and almost half the cars I see don't. Most of them don't even have a spot to put it on, mine doesn't. Then the tint?! I have tint too! If you didn't tint it then I'd dispute. Too low? didn't know there was such a thing, all the italian cars would get ticketed everyday...
Anyways, I'd fight it for sure. Theres no way you can lose to all of those.

Some cops like to be ********, so they like to waste other people's time due to their insecurities and crappy life. I'm just saying it happens to SOME, many officer's dont do this, only the retarded who come out of the closet once in awhile.

The plate is legit but you can usually get that to be a fix it ticket... put the plate on, take pictures proving you have it and go to court. A lot of cops will let you get away without it or with it in the windshield, but technically you are supposed to have it.
The tint is probably bs. You can have rear tint as low as 25% and the rear windshield as dark as you want.
The rear plate law says something along the lines that it cannot obstruct any text (including "TEXAS" on the top). A lot of plate frames have a dip in the middle up top that will over lap texas, which by law, is illegal. Again, you can probably get that to be a fix it ticket.
The ride height, as mentioned before, is based off of headlight height. I think it's something like no lower than 22" off the ground, which again seems like you shouldn't have any problem managing.
I've never had any sound issues... I know there are a lot of loud cars in san antonio so I cant imagine why he would pull you over for that... should be able to get that dismissed. Do you have a cat-back at all?
It seems like he was being an ***, but it happens sometimes... I'd imagine you can get most or all of those dismissed.

Lol in Texas there is no sound violation period. I know because my buddy who has a motorcycle ran this extremely loud pipes and took it to court and texas has no laws regarding exhaust noise.

Don't bother with those ticket fighting places. Biggest shams ever. I used them and didn't do anything that I couldn't have done myself.
Also, in California, traffic court is so stacked against the defendant. Unless you have some rock solid evidence or the cop doesn't show, the judge is going to believe the cop.
The CHP officer wrote me up for something I didn't do and in the wrong location. Cop showed up and judge believed the officer. Fortunately, she felt enough pity to let me go to traffic school. Many judges will not let you go to traffic school if you go through with the trial.

Only thing in that entire list that will hold any weight is the front plate, and that is thin. The judge will likely throw it out or give reduced ticket price just as long as you show them pic of it fixed and plead ignorance. All the others are BS.
Dickface cops like that just throw the book at you and hope a couple stick, nevermind using discretion... all the while creating more paper work for the courts...********

You are a menace to society. You should be behind bars.
Like others have said, take it to court. The too low thing is bullshit and likely the judge will see that much of this is too and tell you to put your damn plate on the front where it belongs.

I think this cop looked for everything possible on my car to give me a ticket for...
So im driving home 5 under the speed limit and i get pulled over...long story short these are the tickets i get
-Car too low (Tein S Tech)
-Car too loud (I put catalytic converter back on 1 day before and it was really quiet)
-Tint to dark (Factory tint)
-No front license plate (In front window)
-Rear license plate obstruction (License plate frame from mazda)

wow. Sounds like That cop probably drives a piece of **** 89 honda At home and he sees ur car he got mad jealous so he decided that he should give you some ****. That sound just like NYPDs in NYC.
Car too low? how low is "low" ? Is there a definition for it ?
Cat too loud ? Wow. Thats a very subjective thing, unless he has the right equipment to check there is no way he can get it for you. You just need to proof that you have stock thing on and this charge could be drop.
Rear Windows has a tin on the side, Not the center. So he can't charge u for that.
No Front plate --- Not sure about ur law but in NYC, u have to mount it on the front bumper. You can probably get this off.
Rear license plate obstruction - wtf ? Since when is a license plate frame an obstruction ?
You guys see why I hate NYPDs that much now? Ahh, I guess NYPDs are not the only dick-head group in the states ~
2 yrs ago I got a tint ticket past mid-night at 42nd ST, Time Square. Yep, Cops have nothing better to do. All they do is to give people ****.

let me throw this on from a police officer's stand point. i'm a cop and i think a bit of the cites are b.s. first thing is first, he did have probable cause to pull you over because you did not have a front place.
as far as the speeding or lack of is concerned, is irrelevant if the officer did not mention it to you.
as others have mentioned, check your state AND local laws regarding vehicle ride height. here in ohio we have laws regarding ride height. the laws are directed towards vehicles that are raised too much.
as far as your car being too loud..well, that you will also hae to check state and local laws on. here in ohio if the police officer can detect a loud exhaust for:
(1) For passenger cars:
(a) When operated at a speed of thirty-five miles per hour or less, a maximum noise limit of seventy decibels;
(b) When operated at a speed of more than thirty-five miles per hour, a maximum noise limit of seventy-nine decibels.
C) Maximum noise limits established pursuant to division (B) of this section shall be measured on the “A” scale of a standard sound level meter meeting the applicable requirements for a type 2 sound level meter as defined in American national standards institute standard S1.4 – 1983, or the most recent revision thereof. Measurement practices shall be in substantial conformity with standards and recommended practice established by the society of automotive engineers, including SAE standard J 986 A NOV81, SAE standard J 366 MAR85, SAE standard J 331 A, and such other standards and practices as may be approved by the federal government.
(D) No regulation enacted under division (B) of this section shall be effective until signs giving notice of the regulation are posted upon or at the entrance to the highway or part thereof affected, as may be most appropriate.
(E) A board of county commissioners of any county may regulate noise from passenger cars, motorcycles, or other devices using internal combustion engines in the unincorporated area of the county, and a board of township trustees may regulate such noise in the unincorporated area of the township, in any of the following ways:
(1) By prohibiting operating or causing to be operated any motor vehicle, agricultural tractor, motorcycle, all-purpose vehicle, or snowmobile not equipped with a factory-installed muffler or equivalent muffler in good working order and in constant operation;
(2) By prohibiting the removing or rendering inoperative, or causing to be removed or rendered inoperative, other than for purposes of maintenance, repair, or replacement, of any muffler;
(3) By prohibiting the discharge into the open air of exhaust of any stationary or portable internal combustion engine except through a factory-installed muffler or equivalent muffler in good working order and in constant operation;
(4) By prohibiting racing the motor of any vehicle described in division (E)(1) of this section in such a manner that the exhaust system emits a loud, cracking, or chattering noise unusual to its normal operation.
(F) Whoever violates any maximum noise limit established as provided in division (B) of this section or any of the prohibitions authorized in division (E) of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Fines collected under this section by the county shall be paid into the county general fund, and such fines collected by the township shall be paid into the township general fund.
as far as the tint is concerned, check you state and local laws regarding tht as well. make sure the officer checked your tint with a current and calibrated tint meter. if he did not, which i dont see how he measured rear tint on your car, the cite is no good as it was not properly measured.
finally, with the rear plate obsruction...check you state and local laws. here in ohio, the registration sticker and the county sticker on the license plate must be fully visable. if not, you can be cited.
