Downshifting, not as easy..
Hey guys, is it just me or does it require more force to downshift? i don't mean a downshift from 6th to 5th or 4th to 3rd....but when i'm crusing in 5th or 6th gear going about 60 mph, and i downshift to 3rd, i have to kind of force it in...and it doesn't feel good doing it.
what are your experiences.

if you match your revs well the shifter should slip into gear 'like a glove' in the words of our favorite pet detective, ace ventura.
if it really does feel like there is an unusual amount of resistance against you when trying to put your shifter into gear, i suggest you stop doing it before you damage your trans and have it checked out by your dealer.

s1mike22, Looking at your buy date you still might have fairly low miles. I found for the first 500 to 750 miles the engine and tranny felt very tight. Also, RPM matching, as mentioned in an earlirer post, will almost draw it into gear with little to no effort, now that mine is broken in. There is some other threads on tight gears, especially going into 6th. I think more use solved most of the problems, and a couple people actually went into the dealer and had something adjusted.
