Drivers Side Window Now Broken
Well short story here for ya. Today my drivers side window went off its track (or so I thought). Fixed it somewhat for the drive home. Once home I went about taking apart my door, needless to say I almost went in over my head. The job of taking the panel off was easy enough after finding a walk through by Lurch (thanks man for that walk through lol) but sadly I needed to get to the Windo portion. So I went about unscrewing the bolts holding the motor in place. What I didnt realize was that the track that the window use's was held in place by two nuts which at this point I realized I only had one.
I was annoyed and pissed now, till I looked down and found the missing nut which I didnt unscrew. At that point I realized what happened and how the damn window was held in place. I grumbled to myself for my haste and went about attempting to put everything back together again. Sadly this job requires two people and I was only one. Thankfully my mother was around and helped me out. Well minor big mistake. She ended up tightening the motor for the window to tight and cracked the casing. I thought nothing of it really and went to putting the panel back on. Sadly I can hear the window's motor moving but the window itself doesnt budge (and yes the passenger side does work).
So my question is did the cracking of the windows motor cause the window not to move or did I forget some odd random step. Also if the motor case cracking cause it not to work how much does a replacement cost.
