Well I know its been explained like a thousand times before, but its something along the lines of you are held in your seat so well that in the event of a roll over, if you do not have a roll cage, your head will be crushed. if you want to do it right you are supposed to have a roll cage, harness bar, and racing seats. Might be missing stuff, but I think thats the minimum.. It also may not be legal to use it on the street, something about not being DOT approved. Don't take my word for it though, do some more research. If you come up with a way to attach that harness to the car, take some pics. The question is where to put the top point. I know what I would do, but its unsafe so I wont talk about it.

3 questions that i post here because similar ones have threads, but arent exactly the same as to my question.
#1. Is it safe to assume that an 8 that is smooth when freshly started up, and shaky once it is warmed up, is NOT being caused by injured motor mounts? Reason I ask is because this is the case with my car. I only think that it wouldnt be the motor mounts just because the temperature should not affect them right? They're either solid or not regardless of how cold/hot they are, or could they just be bad and the motor only disobeys the mounts when it shakes at a more unstable/hotter temp?
#2. My shfiter vibrates a LOT. Not to the point where you cant see it because its so blurry, but its much different than my old accord. Without overhauling the transmission does any one have any idea on how to remedy this? I can see that when my hand is on it, while your moving it sideways to shift, at certain points the vibration stops, like if you just go left to right with it, but all gears including neutral it vibrates a lot. Any one know any kind of remedy to this? The reason why it is an issue is because when I redline in 2nd or 1st, sometimes it vibrates so much it sends a tingle in my hand and I cant move my hand haha.
#3. My driver's side mirror vibrates a lot. But not the mirror assembly, the actual mirror inside the housing. I have tried taking it out by looking at the DIYS, but I just cant seem to do it. When I power move the mirror all the way facing the driver like the DIY says, I see 3 metal attachments that connect to the back of the mirror. Are you supposed to pry these off using a screwdriver? And once it is off, is there just a simple tightening device? I actually took off the tweeter housing and tightened those screws which fixed the housing rattle, but darn, with how much my car shakes warm on idle, my mirror vibrates quite a bit. Would like to get it still!
Cheers and thanks to any advice.

All 3 questions point to your motor mounts. Motor mounts are rubber, and just like rubber tires, they get softer as they warm up. Failing motor mounts add lots of vibration to every part of the car, specifically the shifter.

Means bumping it to the top of the pile. Or in this case, the thread list. The thread list is sorted by last reply time-stamp, so if more than 1 page of other threads get replies, then your thread can get shifted to the 2nd page. Replying with anything will bump it back to the first page so it can get noticed, but if the purpose of the reply is just to make that happen, some variation of 'bumping' text is used in the reply so people know what it is that you are doing.

Bump = Bring Up My Post
My car would make a high pitched sound similar to a dog whistle when I would give it a small amount of acceleration. It has since evolved into a sound that sounds like my engine is trying to squeeze sand out of a small hole. It is not very easy to describe. I am not sure what is the first thing to assume when the engine starts to sound different than usual. I am very familiar with "usual". It concerns me greatly, and I am afraid to drive it and make it worse. This happened after my coolant reservoir spit coolant all over. I found the overflow, and assumed it was because I overfilled it. Can this cause weird sand sounds, or has my car been compromised? I can try to record audio if I was not descriptive enough.
ALSO, my car shutters when shifting sometimes. More frequent from a cold start. It jerks me very subtle but noticeable when I reach a certain RPM.

If coolant got on any of your belts it can permanently soak in. If it is a squealing I would start there.
Has anyone seen a DIY for removing fender vents, or do they just pop out?

mr-fender vents are held in by by clips but just pop out when you squeeze them. remove wheel well liner and you can get your hand in there. you will feel tabs around the vents. just squeeze them and they will pop right out

Good to know, when I bought this car it has mismatched tires front to rear, I am not a fan of that.
I would like to go a tad thicker on the tire, it has 225's on it now and I would love to fo 245 if they will fit.
Did you prefer the 40's over the 35's or the other way around? and why?
Thanks for the input, your answer is exactly what I was looking for.

I would do the 35s Jims. A basic formula to figure out loosely how tall a tire will be is:
Width(245 here) x aspect ratio as a percentage(0.35) x 2(You have 2 sidewalls)
Divide that by 25.4 to convert to inches and add the wheel size.
225/40r19=26.09inches
245/35r19=25.75inches
245/40r19=26.72inches

I know that people in the past have told me that (I have an 05) if you purchase the 2007 and up starters you will be able to put them in the 2005 and use it and it has a faster spin speed.
Is this the same starter as the one that Mazmart sells? I have tried contacting him so I can get a replacement because for winter I really want the faster cranking one. I purchased the re-manned 05 one but it just does not spin very fast.
