I ondered what the rear console looked like. Forgot to check it out at the show. Too bad there isn't a 12v outlet in there too.
Thanks.

Boy, those cup holders are terrible. They're about the same size and shape as the ones in my Protege5. If you have a cup in there and make anything but the slowest turn, the cup practically leaps out of the holder. I've already had to clean up a few messes, now I don't bother using them.

Are you talking about the front or rear cupholders? The rear look pretty shallow and won't hold anything, but the front ones look marginally better?

Also, does that center armrest/console cover extend forward so it can be used as an armrest?

Yes it does extend forward. It does act like an armrest

Yeah, the front ones look a liitle better, but think of the typical top-heavy drinks you get from fast food joints. My P5 cup holders are somewhere between the two.

Simple solution: no drinks in the car at least no big ones.

Easier said than done. Try doing a trip from Houston to Laguna Seca to Road America and back to Houston in one week. That's spending a lot of time in a car without refreshment.

i think the piece i circled is what im talking bout. i believe it flips and slides up and down, thats the piece im worried about because it felt very flimsy and it felt like it would break easily.

20 oz bottles with the cap on unless your drinking. Where there's a will there's a way. The bottles will probably fit perfect too.

Besides you did all that driving without stopping for gas or pee breaks?
