Engine Swap

ok so i have a question...im thinkin of swap my motor and tranny to an 87-89 body style rx7...is this possible without any major modification

So you want to move the renesis into an older RX-7 chassis?

Wouldn't it be easier to just sell your 8 and use the money to buy a new motor for your 7 chassis?

Yea but..my car is wrecks so I won't get much for it. I can get the 88 shell for $600

I'm sure he has his reasons...and the above one is a good one. The Renesis is definitely a better engine than that in an 88 rx7.....

You might find more useful information on the rx7 forums, to be honest. Look around here to get dimensions on the engine mounts and stuff like that, then take it to the rx7 folks

if you can fit a v8 into the 88 rx7 then surely you can fit a small lil 1.3 renesis.
