As far as extended warranties go, I just went with the one offered by the Mazda Dealership. Not sure what they use as I'm assuming it varies based upon region or even the dealer itself?
Just went with Powertrain coverage due to the sensitive nature of the Renesis and Wheel and Tire coverage since it was so cheap. I think altogether it only added around 1200 something to our total?
I'd be weary of aftermarket companies like the ones you see on TV, they can screw you over pretty good based on testimonies I've seen.

Haha. Mazda wants 2G"s for a 2 year 24000 mile power train extended. I'm considering it. On an unrelated note. I do think the 8 has more "soul" than the Evo. I owned a 370z for about 6 months then got rid of it. It wasn't for me at all.
