<- EX-potential buyer (or big stupid grin)
This is the finest piece of machinery I've ever touched. I found the car with the right color and options a few days ago and managed to make it to the dealer today.
When I got there the car had 4 miles on the odometer. After my test drive it had 16 miles on the odometer. Now, just 8 hours later, it has 76 miles on it and an owner with a permanently affixed stupified grin. :D
If there isn't already an antonym for "buyer's remorse", I'm pretty sure this car will bring about a new phrase.
Sorry about the picture quality, I snapped off about 10 pictures before my batteries gave out (Doh!), and didn't have time to find the right lighting or flash. I do promise that several nicer pictures are on their way however.
Thanks to everybody that makes up this great community, you've all helped make what I think is an excellent decision.
Erm, time to fix my signature!

Yes, congrats, the green is a nice color (well, just about all the colors are. ). But the green seems to be the rarest bird.

Eston, congrats on the buy. I was actually considering that exact car (the only Green w/ Sport in the Bay Area) as an alternative to black so I wouldn't have to wait, but I concluded I really liked the way green looked at night, but not as much during the day. Either way, top choice.
Have a blast

Thanks
I'll definitely be checking out the regional threads to hook up at some gatherings. It'll be great to chat with people that have more experience and knowledge with modern cars.
It's so nice to be back on a rotary. The feel, the smell, the sound, everything just feels right. My first car was an RX-7 about 15 years ago, having been rolled three times before it was handed down to me, it only had a few years of life left before it finally gave out and I've been on low-end cylinder sports engines since then. That test drive was like a home coming for me, although the handling is like a totally original dream.
Now if I can just make it through this day of work so I can buy some batteries for the camera and cruise around town looking for good snapshot locations.
