Factory HID or not? What package do I have?
These questions keep going in my head especially since I went to a body shop and they ask me what model I have and im not sure which one it is. When I bought the car it has HIDs but the bulbs are much more blue than factory, also I dont think I have ever seen them auto level. Anyway to tell if my HIDs are factory or not?
Secondly my model has appearance package although one pair of them seem to be from the Titanium gray so they could have been added. It also has navigation. There is no sunroof and the interior isnt black and red. Also there is no heated seats and looks like I have a single disc cd player but still has a cd changer button? Just trying to figure out what it is because it seems like I have some options and not all. Thanks.

If you've got HID headlights, fog lights and DSC but no moon roof you've got the Sport package. That's consistent with cloth unheated seats. Nav was an option on all trim levels.
If you don't have DSC then you've got a base and the HIDs would have been added. As far as color of the bulbs goes, a previous owner could have changed those.
The specification deck was posted here in a sticky. I don't know if it's still there, or was displaced by later year versions.

Thanks. I must got the sport then. I got dsc. When I go to body shops they only ask me if I have base, touring or grand touring. They never ask a sport option.

The leveling is very subtle. There is a sensor on the driver's side rear suspension. If the person has had suspension work done then it is very easy for a careless person to put the sensor arm back at an inorrrect angle. I have seen this, it leaves the lights misadjusted either way too high or low.

turn on the headlights and the ignition to on, open the trunk and sit on it. you should hear a faint grzzz. then you get off turn around quickly you should see the light moves.

It is a small box with a thin arm coming out of it (or arms, sorry its been a while since i looked at it). The arm bolts to the lower control arm i believe. It is based on rotation, not extension. So as the suspension moves the arm rotates and turns a sensor in the box.
Kinda difficult to explain but if you remove you driver's rear wheel you should notice it easily.
