so yea....i just installed a HKS intake onto my car! first of all, the intake is really loud when i get up to 7k rpm, i dont know if it is just the HKS intake or all intake sounds like that!?
but herez my question, after i got home and i turned off my car tonight. i hear the fan turned on right after i got off of my car ( it was on for like 10 sec), it just shocked me, cause it never happened to me before!! i know it is normal to some cars, but is it normal to rx8? do they often do that?

mazsport even sells an upgrade that turns the fans on sooner then usual to keep temps low instead of letting them get really hot before it activates.

to be fair, i was pretty freaked out the first time it happened, but i searched and found the answer

 

Mine came on when I parked somewhere and a guy walking by told me I forgot to turn my car off!
