Fastest turn you have taken in your RX-8

Just took a turn at 39mph. I know it doesn't seem fast, but that's coming from a truck owner who had to take turns at 10mph. So what's the fastest turn you guys have taken?

The relative fun of a corner taken at speed depends on the pavement type, radius of turn, weather conditions, existence of follow-up turns, as well as velocity.

If you like turning at speed, I recommend trying an autocross event.

making the calculation so complex paradoxically takes the fun out of it ... or at the least, it makes me want to leave things up to a computer.
computer, am i having fun?

^^^very true

62 for me on a 90 degree turn, pulled a really nice drift out of it. then 88 on an off ramp bend, that one puckered up my butt hole.

I hear ya on that. One of those slight turns to the right where a stoplight is...well, no cars anywhere, so I dropped it to second, and punched it. Probably closer to 45, but when my back end lost a little grip, I was going right for a street sign. Good thing I didn't lose too much grip, cause I caught back on easily.

Scared me enough to never do it again!
