whats your favorite rx8 color

 

yellow. lightening yellow.

kind of a weird question because it's obvious that it would the color we bought the car in. maybe if you asked what are our 'other' fav. colors.

 

some might have multiple favorites though. I had a tough time picking colors, but I must say I enjoy my brilliant black. Though, I really do like the stormy blue mica. Cant say for sure, but based on members here, there's probably less stormy blues than lightning yellow

 

i like TI but its took purpley i would rather have got galaxy gray but they dont have that on the 07s or some ****.

BB or VR look good too.

In my opinion Strato Blue is the sharpest color for the 8, unfortunately not offered in N.A. BB would be second,but a bitch to keep clean.

Copper red is my fav, but I couldn't find one (other than at a dealer who wouldn't deal, grrrr). I went with my second choice, galaxy grey. It's way better than titanium grey.

I wish we got sparkling black mica on the 8 here. I saw it on a cx9 and started drooling at the thought of a sbm 8.

Doesn't Strato blue = Stormy Blue? They're the same, no?

1. Phantom Blue (imho :D)
2. Copper Red
3. Stormy Blue/Strato Blue
4. Black Cherry
5. Virtual Red
6. Winning Blue
6 1/2 Yellow (I've only seen it like three times in person, never fails to impress)
7. White Water Pearl
8. Brilliant Black
9. Nordic Green
10. Silver (all of them, heh, but mostly the silver, not gray)

personal, subjective list. But hey, that's how I breaks 'em down.

My favorite color on an RX8? The one I bought. Just like everyone else did. Hopefully.

 

Good choices. My first pick was Copper Red. But it was only available on the Shinka in '06, and I didn't want all the Shinka stuff. Plus, my wife thought it was red enough for me to wind up meeting every cop in the county. Galaxy Grey seemed suitably stealthy and sophisticated, so that's what I got.

But, when it comes down to it, the 8 looks right in any of its colors.

all this stormy blue love is raising my phantom blue hackles, haha. I think we need to get a well lit, dynamic photo session together of a phantom blue, stormy blue and winning blue. I'll offer up my PB, any DC area members want to partake?
