He picked it up last week and he says he is lovin every minute of it!
I am a fellow rotary owner as well.
I have also owned an FC but I like my first gen better
I have a '79 Rx-7 that my dad purchased brand new!
Let me know what you think!
P.S. - 7's are better!!!!!

I had a White '79 too! First one off the boat the dealer said. I remember it well it was my 5th RX. I had a '74 RX-4 before it with a 13B and twenty more hp, it was hard to give to the wife. She had to have A/C so after having that put in it ruined the weight of the front end. The RX-7 was one of the best handlers in it's time. I put a RB header, wing-foots, bilsteins and more on it, it was a fun car.

The SA (RX7 S1) had the bumpers showing. The FB (S2) Had the plastic covered bumpers. Both had the 12A engine. The FB (S3) had the 13B engine and some beefed up parts that made it heavier.
I liked my S2 better than the S3, even though the S3 had 30 hp more power. It was so much more fun to throw around.

I really do plan on keeping my RX-8 for my entire life as long as I have enough garage space. I think in time it's look will be even more fantastic. I've never felt this way about a car before.
