Over the weekend, my drivers side fender liner and front air dam liner fell apart while doing ~80 mph on the freeway. I didn't see any objects on the road. The parts guy at the dealership said he's seen this happen before on other 8's. He said the clips come loose. Anyway, I had to pull over over and remove the fender liner on the road since it was rubbing against the tire. Lukily, it was covered under the warranty. Anybody else had this problem?

I've had the left side lose the 2 lower "clips" , but I noticed and corrected the problem before the wheel well lining was thrashed.

 

I had the same problem with the front liner(under the air dam) only not at 80mph
luckily I found the fasteners on my garage floor,so I took it to the dealer and had them check ALL of them and replace the ones that were broken or missing. I then picked-up some extras to have at home just in case.
