Just two more cents.
I don't have DSC or Traction control on my car. It's a base model. I have experienced no pulling while braking on any surface, at any speed or on ice. When the ABS has come on, the car has tracked logically even in a turn. The car does pull while cruising on rutted roads occasionally, but this happens with the brakes off as well as on, and I attirbute that entirely to the low profile tires. It has stopped since I have put the softer sidewall winter tires on the car. Just my observations.

Since I'm the one that mentioned the braking thing, my apologies. Mearly trying to share information. Wasn't trying to "steer" anyone wrong. :D
I can also say I drive with my DSC on and have never expereinced what's being described here. However, I'v mostly driven with my snow tires on the vehicle.

Thank you Zoom44,
I checked out the link but unfortunately it didn't seem like the problem was resolved. I would like to hear what ended up happening with the test drive on the other car.

I had the exact same problem (search my thread in the tech garage under serious steering). This is THE major reason I sold mine back to Mazda. I have driven many cars with "low profile wide tires" and have never experienced the heart dropping white knuckle episodes AT SPEED in any other car. Mostly it was annoying at low speed -I wont repeat all that I said in my thread _please go there and see your dealer and get some help for your car. Good Luck and grip that wheel tight.

I have never experienced that. It has "tramlined" a little when I have expected it. But nothing like 3 lanes! Maybe a few inches. If you need bad roads to test your suspension, bring 'em down under.
I would be getting it checked out - perhaps a problem with the wheel sensors.
Cheers,
Hymee.

I searched out this thread because at 3600 miles this has suddenly started happening to me. The only difference is that the temperature outside is colder. Has anyone noticed a difference with warmer weather.?
It certainly caught my attention the first time it happened and is happening frequently and also on rutted roads.
I live in southern Arkansas. It clearly started with the first cold weather.

I bought my car on 10/20. The weather was about 45 f the night I drove her home. The ambient temp should not affect it that much. Maybe driving it 25psi in the tires would however. Cold weather would harden the tires but would not be enough to have the car to pull to either side. Now gripping the road with the stock tires on the other hand...
