$3.29 this past weekend in the hills of North Georgia. it was about $46 for the 14 gallons I put in, and proceeded to burn all of it in about 3 hours playing in the hills. It was worth it.

Went 211 miles before I pulled over and purchased $3.569 / gallon for Shell 91 at 11.774 gallons, that was $42.02 for the top off fill that got me 17.9 MPG, which is down from my normal 19-20 MPG. (Getting new coils and motor mounts on Friday.)
Washington State must have the highest prices in the US - what gives?

$3.27/gal of 91 octane. 14 gal and $45 for the gasoline part.
$2 for 8 oz of RP pre-mix ($8 a quart).
Added 1 gal of xylene for drag racing insurance at $6, so $53 for that particular fill-up.

^^ Exactly! It also has the good fortune of possessing 118 octane. Adding 1 gallon to 13 gallons of 91 octane fuel yields 93 octane.
Abbid - I know this will sound crazy, but try QT gas. Despite it seeming like it would be super sh*tty, it is actually the best gas in Phoenix.

Anyways, QT is good gas? I've always been partcial to Shell Vpower, even though it is usual a few cents more a gallon. I'll have try QT.
And the additive, too, to get 93 octane. Damn Arizona and it's cat-**** 91!

The most expensive average cost of gasoline is found in San Francisco (3.536), and the least is found in Anchorage (2.789). That means all of us fall somewhere in between those numbers with a few exceptions. We all have the same gas tank size, so the math isn't difficult to figure out what we are all paying for gas.
The average price for regular gasoline in the United States today, 02 May 2007, is 3.009.
All prices provided by Gas Buddy.
It's quite boring to ask a question when you know the answers will be between 40 and 70. What odd answers should I expect someone to say? 1 million?

Just outta curiosity...would the engine benefit from higher octane anyway? I mean if you ran C12 or something would it even make a difference? I know about the cat thing so lets not go off into that...
