I finally got my RX8! It's a 2004, fully-loaded with 45k miles on it. The owner I bought it from took really good care of the car and has every maintenance record. He put in a custom dashboard, which is touchscreen, and ipod dock, dynamat, K40 Calibre, and a pretty sick surround sound system. Drives great and having fun!

Definitely like that touch-screen but not really sure about the location for climate control. Is the surround there fiberglass?

 

I was thinking the same thing about the controls. welcome to the family.

Not liking the steering wheel cover thing either. never have liked those things

Yeah, I think I'm going to remove that. It would be a problem in the summer if I left the car out, but it will definitely be garaged.

Yep, got the CarFax. It checks out. It also comes with a bumper-to-bumper extended warranty up to 100k miles (4 years left). I got it for $12,100 before taxes/registration fees, but the tires and clutch need to replaced soon.

lol... thats a new look for the dash for sure. love the blue, WB and VR are def the best 2 colors IMO. gorgeous car man, are you tail lights smoked, dirty, or is it just a weird camera effect?

Yeah, the dash is pretty nice, one of the best things I liked about the car. And yeah, the previous owner painted them.

The front and backlights are tinted a little. Again, done by the previous owner.


Question: What is the optimal shifting RPM for the best fuel efficiency?

 

9k everytime lol ok fine 8.5, it cleans your engine but if you want to save gas, just turn the car off
