Finally Picked up a FD

Some of you have seen my threads on thinking about getting a different car. Well I finally bite the bullet and picked up the car ive always wanted and never stop wanting.

Finally got the FD I been waiting for. Picked up a really good 93 FD roller. It has only 70k on the chassis. Got it for a really good deal and it isnt a stripped roller like most rollers I have seen. Only reason motor was pulled was because they were going to do a V8 swap =(. One of the cleanest interior/exterior roller I have found.

This will be my new project car, Unfortunately I cant have two projects and the 8 will have to go. At least I can have a boosted car once again. Only pic I have is of it on the tow truck coming home.

jayscoobs, nice pickup.

I too have always wanted an FD, just can't seem to get the damned clamp off the wallet to do it.

Can't wait to see a build thread...you are gonna include us, right?

Thumbs up

Clean roller!

I miss my FD sometimes, but my pockets are only so deep so I sold her and picked up the next best thing IMO

Whats your plans for the FD?

Keep us posted!

We call it tan. I call it low ball tan. As soon as you see it in an FD, you get permission to low ball right off the bat.

Yeah I saved another FD from getting a V8. The guy is actually really crazy and happens to have a Veilside Fortune kit that he still needs to get on.

Plans is simple, in the beginning keep it close to stock as possible. Just reliability upgrades. Plus I need it to pass smog. Im going to take modding part by part, I don't want to end up with boost creep/spike. Im most likely just going to 99 spec the car. Nothing crazy.

Ill try to have a build thread on both forums haha.

Haaa I'd like to see how far you get Spirit R specing it! It's harder than you think unfortunately. I down know anyone that got further than me and I still have quite a bit to go.
