thanks guys!!
just 2 questions:
1. Do you have to warm up the engine before going anywhere? I heard people say rev it up to 3K for a few seconds let it idle again then drive. Same goes when you turn the car off?
2. How do I find out if i have the M-flash? call up my dealer?
thanks again!

I don't do anything to warm up the car, but I don't drive it hard until the temperature guage gets to the middle. Revving it when you turn it off is a different story- that was to prevent flooding, but it's no longer necessary because of the M flash. To check for the M-flash, do the 20 tap test. Search for it here, it's been discussed a lot.

Look for a label under your hood. It'll have the letter in the code somewhere. Or...
Turn your key to ON. Now stomp your brake pedal quickly at least 20 times. If your oil gauge moves over, then back, you have at least "L" I believe.

That's right- don't start the car, just leave the key in the ON position. You don't need to stomp the brake, just press it enough to trip the sensor (your brake lights will come on). You need to do this 20 times in 8 seconds. If you have the L or M flash, the oil guage will sweep out to the halfway mark and back. This clears the eccentric plate shaft memory, and the oil guage movement was added so technicians can verify that the memory was cleared. Luckily, they only included that feature in flashes L and beyond.
