The First 9 Hours
I got my RX-8 at noon today. My last two cars were Miata's, a '99 and an '02. It took me about twenty kilometers to "get" the new clutch - it's different, but not very much so.
I love it. It leans a little more in the corners than I'm used to, and it's extremely difficult to keep the revs down for the break-in period. I skipped into an open space in traffic and hit 6500 before I looked down...
No remorse here. I'm one very satisfied person. Especially when it comes to the space in the rear. As long as we're not talking two people 6 feet or more, it's actually damn roomy.
The mileage is gonna suck bad... but that's the only down side thus far.
