First oil change -- advice needed
I'm going to schedule the dealer to do my first oil change, and I'd like some advice for things I need to ask them or things I might be overlooking.
(I know some of you do it yourself, but I want to get some things taken care of at the dealer anyway.)
Aren't there some specific washers you should ask them for in case you do it elsewhere the next time?
Also, I'm going to see if I can get the new dipstick.
Anything else I should be asking about?
Thanks.

^most likely they just drain the oil pan, as that's teh 'standard' oil change procedure for the 8....
you should look into a Fumoto Drain Valve, then you'll *never* have to deal with crush washers ever again (and never have to lift the car up to change oil ever again) :D

Before you leave the dealer check your oil to see if they over / under filled it.
Let the car warm up to full temp, that way you will notice if they spilled oil on your motor.

^yes, i installed this on the very first oil change, it has been great, no leaks whatsoever
here is the FAQ from Fumoto's site:
http://www.fumotovalve.com/about.cfm
this is a very well built piece, i expect it to last beyond the life of the car :D
