First Oil/Filter Change - When?
I've searched, and yet again found differing opion on this issue.
I'm at 1,300 miles now.
I've changed the oil and oil filter @ 1,000 miles on past vehicles for the 1st oil/filter change, but I'm not sure if this necessary today, or even prudent.
It is my understanding that the factory fill of oil (break-in oil, if you will) has a high concentration of moly, and that it might be advisable to do the 1st oil/filter change at 2k or 3k, instead.
So, what does everyone here think?
P.S. - I've already added 3/4 of a quart of Castrol GTX 5W-20 (non-synthetic).

I never add oil. There is 1.8qts of oil between the marks on dip stick. The car is oil injected according to how hard you drive it. You will normally get 2-4k in that 1.8qts. I just change the oil and filter between 2-4k. This is my 7th rotary and what I have always done. Rotary engines run hot and that breaks down the oil faster.
