Flashlight mount above dipstick?
I remember seeing a picture of a metal bracket holding a flashlight mounted above the dipstick somewhere on the forum. I cannot for the life of me find it again with any variant of search attempts. On second thought, I can't remember if I saw it on some vendor's site, either. The flashlight seemed to be a small AA type flashlight (MiniMag?) that points down at the dipstick. Does anyone recall what I am trying to describe? I would love to get one as I usually end up getting gas at night after work, and digging out my LED from my keychain is a hassle at times.

Google search found it @ rx8strakes.com: http://www.rx8strakes.com/index.asp?...PROD&ProdID=33
Anyone have this? How's the fit?

I can see one big flaw with that, it won't work or a right hand drive vehicle!! Its fine for you guys lol
From looking at that link there is a lot easier spot on a LHD car. Ive been working on a light for a while now. I am using one of those microlights that run on coin cells. I tried a few ways but havn't perfected it yet.
I am using a Inova brand microlight. Its a high quality one, it turns off by itself which is pretty cool.
Did you see the Vortex Gererators on the rx8 strakes site. looks pretty fugly if you ask me. I wondered what those things on the new evo's were. I guessed it was some aerodynamic widgit but never new they had such a exciting name To each their own but not for me
