Flooded again
So my 8 flooded for the thrid time. The first time was my fault because I forgot to warm it up. The second time it was my girlfriends fault. This time the auto glass shop flooded the engine. I was going to california for a week and they were holding my car for me while they waited for the new window to come in. During the day the car would be in their lot, but they said they would put it in the garage at night. Thanksgiving week was hella cold in New Jersey, and I forgot to tell them that the car must be warmed up. Dont u know when I go to pick up my car it wont start. First the auto glass guy tells me that he never started it once. Then I tell him I know he started it once and shut it off quickly and now the engine is flooded. I didnt mind b/c it was my fault that I didnt tell him, but he didnt have to lie. Then he admits that he did start it once. So I tried to start it but I just figured that it wouldnt start like the last two times. So I called mazda roadside and waited. The tow truck driver got there and said he could get it started. I figured no way b/c the battery would run out before all that condensation could be cleared out of the engine. But then i remembered that last time it flooded they said they gave me a new battery and plugs and a new computer flash. Sure enough, after about 15 minutes of turning the key and pumping the gas, this guy got it started. Crazy white smoke shoots out of the pipes forever. This is the same type of starting process my dad used to do with my rx7, but we used to have to park it in the garage and keep charging the battery until finally it would start. So anyone who lives in a cold weather state should go and demand that they get whatever battery and flash that I got, because it saved me from having my car in the shop for a week. And to all those morons who live in a warm climate and claim that flooding isnt an issue, u r officially retarded. Flooding happens in cold weather fools. If anybody wants to see what happens when u leave a $3000 powerbook on your backseat in NYC, go to my friends myspace page www.myspace.com/panavision

I guess I didnt explain what I meant. There are a bunch of people on here who say flooding isnt really an issue with the RX8 and that it happens very rarely. The only problem is that most of these people are from Florida or California. Posting something that says oh my 8 never flooded, when u live in florida, is about as useful as saying one plus one is two
