I don't sit in the car wasting loads of fuel waiting for the needle to come up to midway. No one should be doing that anyway considering how incredibly inefficient the rotary is at cold temperatures. I turned my car on and wait for the idle to drop below 1,500 and I'm off. Of course I don't take it over 3,500 till its completely warmed up.
I stalled in reverse backing out of my space at work.. yes yes fail.![Frown](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

The flooding problem seems to happen the most when someone turns OFF the car when the engine is still cold and it isn't for awhile. It seems people have had luck starting the car right away after an accidental cold stop and the engine continues on fine.

Were most of these flooding issues taken care of with the 2005 model, meaning no need for the 2004 flashes that took care of this issue, or was it finally fixed in 2006? I'm looking at 2006's, but some 2005 GT's are now available in my area for a lower price. Thanks.
