Flood the transmission?
Look, this car has a rotary engine. Consider it as a nuclear propulsion device if you wish, it's almost that different from a piston popper. Now, along with its inherent benefits, it brings to you also, its inherent idiosnycracies (if I spelled that correctly, I win $1000, OK?). One of the (____, yeah, what I said) is that you better not turn it off before it gets up to temperature. That may take 5 minutes, maybe a tad longer in the great white north at this time of year. If that's too much to handle, well, uh... you better "stray". You like RX-8? Fine, but let her warm up before you shut her down. As opposed to female-types, she won'tflood on you if you warm her up. That's just the way it is. And it's real easy to remember. And even if you don't follow this real simple rotary rule, most of the time you'll be alright anyway. It doesn't flood every time. I've had mine for 4 months and never was stupid enough to forget this simple rule. I pushed it a couple times instead of cranking it up. It pushes easily, especially downhill :D
