i dont even know what a flood on the car would look or sound like... aug 2003, 10,000 miles. never failed. and i dont think a week is enough time to celebrate.

The NA gen II guys learned this trick back then to prevent this. The extra rpms as the engine spins down help to blow out any vapors left in the engine. There is no risk of damage doing this because the engine's oil pump turns as long as the engine is moving. Many people, including the dealership I got mine from, teach this shutdown procedure. Of course, with the new flashes, its less important to shut the engine down this way.

i like that sign, i just been leaving a hand written sign whenever i leave my car somewhere.

Oh by the way 2004 Ti bought on July 3rd, no flooding issues
