Question Flooding -- warranty question

I flooded my 8 while moving the car to the garage after washing it. I got it to start by removing the fuel pump fuse and cranking for a while. I know that if I had just gave up and had Mazda tow the vehicle, they would most likely change oil and look at the spark plugs, but since i got it started ans saved them money by not towing, would they still cover that under warranty?

Thanks
Eric

just another data point:

3 months ago when I was given a 2-day extended test drive over a weekend by my dealer I stalled the car twice before getting out of the dealers lot onto the street. Twice more over that weekend I stalled the car (getting used to a stick after years of not driving one)...once in my driveway 1st thing in the morning and once more at a stoplight. All 4 times the car started immediately with no problems observed.

Regards, Last_D8

P.S. I ordered an RX-8 that Sunday when I returned the demo and expect my own 8 next week.

it looks like if you stall it and restart right away, you may not have any problems. I let my car sit for a day and a half after i washed it. I jus checked gas mileage again, 204 miles on 12 gallons or 17 mpg. i was getting closer to 18 before, but not a huge difference.
