Flooding warrinty question?
mines an 05.. i believe.. it was made in june... 04.. i flooded my engine for the first time the other day, (i think its flooded....It turns over just doesnt ignite...) but.. if my car had the new battery, plugs, starter yadda yaddaa in it.. will i have to pay for it to be deflooded?? also.. when the engine floods.. whats the "symptoms" i read some where were someone ask "did you smell Gas from the exhausts" the question was never answerd.. if you smell gas... does that mean its an engine flood? man im such a newb.. sorry guys

If your car is still under warranty and it won't start, have it towed to the dealer and have them fix it. It doesn't matter whether the car is really flooded or not, they are obligated to fix it unless the problem is an item not covered by the warranty (like the battery). Even if it is flooded, they are obligated to fix it during the warranty period.
If your RX-8 is a June '04 build, it doesn't have all the updates, so make sure that the dealer does the full "Engine cranks no start" service bulletin.
All this should be covered under warranty. If the dealer tries to get out of the coverage simply call the Mazda 800 number and complain.
