Bwahahahahahah.. god this gave me the best laugh in awhile thanks man really I mean it!

Overall stop acting immature and you'll be treated nicely. As a few have stated you should have those lights off while driving because its a distraction and I'm assuming this is your first car and well you should be paying attention to the road not the kewl uber lights at your feet. Be hard to explain to dad why you wrapped the Silver 8 around the telephone pole and why your friends head got decapitated and fell into your lap because you looked down at the lights after your friend who is now dead commented on how nice they look.

Sorry if that sounds harsh but I'm from MA and we've had alot and I do mean ALOT of recent teenage car deaths and usualy its from them foolishly speeding or drinking. Just make sure you realize what your driving and concentrate on driving it now how flashy it looks (atleast for 2 years man..).

But, as for the 16 year old kid in here, it is impossible to convince these guys that you should have this car. They have their opinions and you have yours. That's just about how everything works in life I have learned. I know that I am a responsible kid and would never do anything to put my life or anyone else's life in danger when I am driving. My parents knew this so they bought me the car of my dreams. I proved that I deserve a car like this through every aspect of my life. I hope that you make good decisions while in your car and PLEASE DO NOT MAKE 16 YEAR OLDS LOOK BAD. It only takes 1 teenager to give the rest of them a bad name.

I appreciate it.

And, it's "you're". It's kind of a pet-peeve of mine to not use the correct you're. But, what do I know? I'm only 16.

It's all good.

But, back on topic... I do like the footwell lamp kit. I was seriously considering to get this done. I had no idea that it was going to cost $150 to put the thing in. WOW! I definetely would just take it to a local custom shop and have them install it for $25. I made the same mistake though. I got the fender strakes put on my car by Mazda. NOT a good idea. The strakes themselves were like $250 and the install was $150. Those 4 little pieces of metal cost me $400. It took the guy 15 minutes to put on. Now, THAT'S rediculous.

You obviously don't have the footwell lights. The footwell lights are a dim red which well have literally no glare on the windows since they are so low and since they are not bright. A couple people have modded their cars so they can manually turn on the footwell lights and they do look nice when on.

I hate people that judge other people just on their age. It sounds like you are jealous of a 16 year old kid just b/c he has an RX-8. If he wants to mod his car with some lights he is free to do it. Don't be a hater.

It has alot more to do with his attitude than age. A 40 y/o here with that attitude would be treated the same way. It's true! I've seen it happen.

You're welcome. Anyway you should post in the Interior, Audio, and Electronic Forum You should find the threads you need there and people are helpful. The general forum sucks for finding information as you can tell, but I think you will find everything you need in the subforums.

Ohhh pedantic... good word Stealth. I am impressed. I'm not that pedantic. I just want to show that not all 16 year olds are like this kid and talk about people's shitty cars when they were 16 and talk about how hard his dad works to people that honestly do not care.
