Forgot how much fun this thing is...

I drove my rx8 today for the first time in about 3 months. I've had it put away for the winter, but we've had some better weather lately and should for the next week or so. I know it's not that long since I haven't driven it, but since I just bought it last May, it almost seems like a new car again.

It's crazy how you can go through withdrawals from not driving a car, but you can.

I also know the feeling. I was driving the 4Runner due to adverse weather. Lately, it's warmed up quite a bit and I was able to take the 8 for a proper drive What a joy! I'd also forgotten the sound the AEM CAI makes!

I just got mine on Tuesday, so I'm still learning how it behaves in corners, but man it is a blast. Even just simple day to day driving is nice due to how smooth everything is, and the steering feel. So many <3.

Mine's been sleeping since Thanksgiving and - judging by how much snow and cold we have - going to stay hibernating for another month or more. Withdrawals have hit real bad. Got my RX8 Sales brocure out the other night to read - just to appease me for awhile.

You haven't seen anything unless you experience motorcycle withdrawls after sitting in winter for 6 months in Minnesota.

Now I can ride everyday!

No matter what car it is. A few months off then getting back into it is the best feeling.

I suppose I should consider myself extremely fortunate to have only waited about 5-6 days until I could drive my 8, because of the dramatic weather which took place around my area very recently.

The wait time which many of you guys are enduring through is impossible! (Would be for me at least, lol)

^^hahah touche!
My baby is still in hibernation for another few months
I visit her every few weeks, just to chat with her and play with her... If the weather holds up (it was NEARLY in the positives today! 26*F), I'm gonna take her out next week to get her juices flowing

It's weird. I feel like this special club of people that understand what a car is all about. To me, it's the most car ever. Granted, I've been dreaming about one since they came out, but still. There is nothing that I've heard of in a reasonable price range that is what the RX-8 is. Bottom line.

It doesn't help that I'm in the south, so most people drive trucks or mullet mobiles. They always say how slow the car is, because of the numbers it puts down on paper.
