Forum Funny
What's really funny is that when you go on this forum you might have 25 people and 3 will complain about the things that are wrong with their 8.
Go on an Audi TT forum and check it out. Tons more people complaining about unbelievable problems they have. Most seem to be because they are so hopped up on Modding their cars. That chip is a great invention on the TT but I don't think the rest of the car can handle what it does to the tranny and the works. I used to have a TT 180T FWD coupe. I liked it, not as much as my 8 which is cooler as far as I'm concerned. Definitely more unique and more of a SPORTS car and a driver's car than the TT. I think it handles better. It reminds me of having an old Austin Healey or some unique car that few have. I like that feeling. It's special not common. There are electrical glitches, windows go up and down on their own...CEL on , off on...gas cap issues...fading displays...MAF problems, I had no problems with mine but some people really had problems. Just a with our 8's. I just feel more part of the 8 than i did in the TT...it's a better driving car.and I think there are many people that don't have problems with 8's but you never hear from them on a forum....most peeps I know don't even know there is such a thing as a forum.....
For the money I believe the 8 is more car ,more fun. I can't think of how it could be any nicer to drive unless it got 30 MPG and that ain't happenin'. It's a sports car...The Ferrari gets 12-15 mpg and it costs $275,000 or more...if you drive a sports car you should expect it....love it and feel fortunate you're not in a Minivan with six kids and a hockey puck. I have nightmares that my 8 gets taken away as punishment and my first wife is there and tells me i must drive an SUV (stupid useless vehicle) to atone for my sins. I've fallen and I don't wanna get up !

TT vs 8
YUP...that's exactly what I was saying...I can't really put a finger on it...it just feels like I belong more. The TT always felt awkward.
My A4 was nice but boring...The TT was not as bad but next to my 8 it just can't compare and for what they cost you'd think it would be better. I have to say that the TT was a bit more solid feeling when you close a door or with the interior parts. That's where the 8 falls a little behind i guess. Things felt heavier , more quality perhaps but maybe that's why the higher cost. I think there is a different feel to the German cars...the Bimmer is that way too...Heavier, more solid...I was getting that new 328xi coupe but when they ran the numbers it was so outrageous I thought again and then when I actually drove the 8 even after having a 7 I was totally taken , especially with the rear seating and comfort driving.I like the 8 better. I can't walk away without checkin' it out. It takes a little more attention for care than some others but so does a classic car...like a Morgan or even a Ferrari or an Old Triumph or a Jag. I guess i'm happy I don't see a million on the road...I've always liked the more unique cars anyway.
