Fp 60

Has anyone here used Lube Control's FP 60 in their RX-8? It gets rave reviews for piston engines; I was curious if anyone had experience in their rotary.

Thanks.

I have. No issues.

I also use LC20, no issues either. But I used some in an older piston car and the car started to leak oil. I don't recommend it if your up in the miles for this reason.

Thanks. Did you notice any improvement in the MPG's or other performance differences?

My miles are really low, so no problem there.

I've been using FP Plus for the last few months. I'm getting about 0.5 mpg more and haven't noticed any negative side effects.

you want the fuel additive that is also a UCL. I don't think fp60 qualifies.

LCD claims FP Plus is an upper cylinder lubricant. They don't make that claim with FP60.

I used FP60 then switched to FP Plus when it was readily available. I use it more for the lubricant and cleaning properties. I don't really notice any mileage gains, but I use it consistently and so don't really see MPG without it.

For me easier than premix.
