heh, i sorta already knew the answer, i was just hoping there was a chance heehee.
o yea i got another problem/question. I installed the audio link a couple weeks ago directly to my ipod. Now everything works fine except i'm not recieveing any FM/AM (signal) stations except for my XM Radio one. So.... maybe i pulled out the atenna when i pulled the headunit out? any advice/comments would be awesome

well actually, i talked to a lot of kids in my auto class, they def agree that my bumper should be repainted under warranty. They did a shity paint job around the mazda emblem, and its chipping, not from road debris. I guess it really depends on the dealership, so i'ma take it in and see what happens.

Doing research before buying my 8, it seemed like a lot of people had problems with soft paint and chipping. Admittedly, I'm sure obsessive RX-8 owners would be more prone to notice small paint chips than people who buy Mazda MPVs to get groceries and drop kids off at school, so it might be an issue of 8 owners really looking over their cars as opposed to crappy paint jobs. Regardless, I thought it was funny when Mazda NA sent me an unsolicited free bottle of touch up paint in the mail a few months after I got my 2005 RX-8.
One part of me said "Wow, what a nice company! They must love my car as much as I do!" Another part of me said "They sent me a five dollar bottle of paint after I just financed a $25,000 car with them that has known issues with paint chipping ... I'm worried!"
However, I bet there's a 99% chance Mazda will not pay for wear on a part that one would expect to get dinged up under normal driving circumstances. If I were a dealer, I would very politely tell you that there's no way I'm paying ($1,000 or more) for that, no matter how bad the job was.
