Front rotary accent- I messed up

So I just ordered the front rotary accent and put in on my car. A few weeks later, I ordered the front air dam. Then I realized that the front air dam needs to go on first. How do I get the rotary accent off? Do I just rip it off? should I heat it somehow to get the glue on the tape to soften? where can I get more of the double sided tape to reinstall it?

Walmart sells foam tape by 3M, better than the brand I got at the automotive specialty store. They pull off a lot easier than you'd think.

The easiest way to get off an accent is to use a hairdrier. Most emblems are stuck - on, and to apply a warm / hot source the emblem should peel right off (worked on my last car perfectly). It literally only takes about 20 seconds for the glue to come lose.
