Fun RX-8 experiences
Hey Guys,
Thought it might be fun to talk about cool experiences we've had with our RX-8s.
Mine is when I was taking my boss home from work because his car was in the shop and it was the first time he was in the car. He loves fast sports cars. So we got to his development and he told me to "open it up." I knew the development pretty well so I floored it going ~70 and the roads are very pretty windy. The RX-8 hugged the turns so well and he was very impressed saying that it was the most responsive car he's ever been in. Thought that was pretty cool.
I like showing off this car to car lovers, they always are impressed about it's handling.

Today as I was leaving a sushi restraunt, I noticed 4 guys checking my car out... literally checking every side and corner. When I stepped out, one of them asked, "Hey, do you like the ride?" I told him, "Of course, I wouldn't want any other car." Then he's like, "It was 40k right?" And I just smiled back.
Looks expensive, but really it's a 30k car.. love it. Saved myself 20k or so, was going to get a BMW, but had to stick with Rotary... missed my chance to own an RX-7 back in the day.

My wonderful experience started when I was buying my RX-8. I traded in my M3 on it and while my BMW was on the lot all the sales guys were over checking it out. I started to wonder if that was going to be what I was giving up. When I got my RX-8 home 3 weeks later (had to wait till it was delivered from the docks in Seattle) I was pleasantly suprised to find that I am the only owner so far in my area. Everyone asks me about this car because there is no one else. I have more looks and questions than you guys can believe. So I guess that my experience is ongoing and until there are more owners here in Spokane, WA. I will be the spokesman. Go Mazda!!!
