I just picked up my Rx8 2 weeks ago from the dealer. Not mention the car was a demo car. so i got it for a cheaper price. It's velocity red with the GT package , 6 spd only thing it doesn't have is a spoiler and a nav system. Just wanted to express my opinion that the RX8 should've came with a gas cap holder. So that way u don't easily scratch the paint job when your filling up.

 

It has one.. Sort of

They provide a little hook on the bottom right that the gas cap tether can hook onto and that keeps it from hanging down.

 

Do a search. This has been discussed. There are several things you can do other than letting the cap hang against the side.

Thanks for the suggestion and i have one more question about the Rx8. Is it normal on a six speed manual trans to hear the throw out bearing when the engine is idling. Cause i use to own a 87 Rx7 GXL n for that car it was normal to hear the throw out bearing. Just curious cause the 8 is a fairly new car.
