GAS?? etc...
I just bought RX-8 Winning Blue with black leather yesterday..
35 Miles was on it. Brand New i guess....?
and i like to know what kind of gas should i put...also i think mine is not "M" Flashed... (JM1FE17N340127494) Should i go to dealer and reflash it? and is it free to reflash or do i have to pay for it?

If you just got the car, it probably already has the M flash. Mazda's Special Program MSP04 basically instructs dealers to upgrade all RX-8's, in stock or in for service, to the latest firmware.
There are a lot of threads on gas, octane, brands, etc. Most people (myself included) have not noticed much of a difference between running 87 or 91. I usually run 87 or 89 most of the time, and run a tank of 91 every once in a while. Stick with a decent national brand in the hope of getting decent quality control and consistency. Please also note that your mileage will not be great, but will improve as the miles build up. Take care to break-in the engine carefully, and it will be around for years of fun to come.
Congratulations on the new ride!

Depress you gas peddle 20times in 8secs (lots of pumping) if your oil pressure needle sweeps from 0 to half to 0 you have L or the new M flash either is good for you mileage.
Do not put anything beside 91 (west coast) 93 (east coast) in this car especially with L or M. With the earlier flashes you could get away with it because those flashes ran extremely rich A/F ratios.
Some cars the ones that dyno lower 170whp- will do ok with a lower octane gas.
Why?
The reason you see so much variance in the dyno results of cars with the same flash is due to a manufacturing variance in the MAF sensors in our intakes. This variance causes some cars to run leaner then others, the 180-190whp cars. If those cars were to try to run 87 or 89 octane, the ride would not be comfortable the Knock/Ping sensor in the car would cut 500-1000rpms every time you approached ping in the engine (more likely around 3000, 6000, and 7250rpm). And if you continued to floor it you would be cut down into a low power mode 25hp (est) no more then 10mph.

I bought my 8 about 3 weeks ago, VIN 131xxx. It had been on the dealer's lot for months and did not have the L or M flash when I picked it up, nor did they mention it or the flooding issues. I learned about all that stuff on this forum and had to take my 8 back to them and specifically ask for the M flash.
